What is the neighborhood like?

The homes for sale in the Crestmont neighborhood were built in the late 1980’s by 3 builders, JM Peters, the Bren Company and Christopher Homes. Each builder created a nice mix of houses that range from the small Christopher Home, 1275-1942 square feet, 3-4 bedrooms, 2-3 baths, 2-car garages, 1 and 2 stories.  with prices ranging from $550,000-$700,000. The Bren Company homes are next at 1549-2435 square feet, 3-4 bedrooms, 2-3 baths, 2 and 3-car garages, 1 and 2 stories prices range from $650,000-$750,000. The largest houses are the JM Peters homes at 2227-2721 square feet, 3-5 bedrooms, 2.5-4 baths, 3-car garages, 2 stories, 3 models include bonus rooms. Many of the homes have westerly views to enjoy beautiful sunsets.

Parks are an important part of Rancho Penasquitos and the Crestmont neighborhood is no exception. Residents enjoy both the community park on Greenberg Way and the Adobe Falls Park which is part of the San Diego Parks and Recreation Department. In December the community park hosts a local party with activities for the kids including hay rides. The Adobe Falls Park offers play ground equipment, picnic tables and an open space to just romp.

What’s going on near the Crestmont neighborhood?

The Rancho Penasquitos Towne Center offers shopping, restaurants and banking service. The Towne Center also acts as a gathering place for many locals. Cafe 56 offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes an outdoor seating area. Von’s takes care of all of your grocery needs. CVS has all of your drug store needs and has a pharmacy as well. The Post Office is across the street from the Center.

The YMCA has 2 pools, indoor and outdoor, as well as a well equiped fitness center. Programs for all ages are offered throughout the year. The library is next to the Y and is open 6 days a week with a wide selection of books, reading clubs and other activities to help you meet your neighbors.

What schools with the kids attend?
